Hey, everybody!

It’s me Nicholas Laschkewitsch, assistant regional representative for the American Coaster Enthusiasts, Northern California region! With the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk being my local park, I thought it would be a no-brainer to continually check out the construction of their new-for-2013 coaster, UNDERTOW! I will be making a trek down to the park each week, starting in a couple days, to capture the ride’s construction from start to finish. It will obviously be many weeks until completion, but that makes it more fun!

Occasional videos and such will be posted on our YouTube channel and linked here as those are produced. Until then, check out these pieces of concept art for UNDERTOW below.

Nicholas Laschkewitsch is the Regional Representative for ACE Northern California and has been a member of the club since February 2009. He says it's hard to pick favorites, but the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk makes the top of his list. Being a Northern California local his whole life, he makes it out to the Boardwalk quite often. Nicholas is excited for what the future will hold for the Northern California amusement parks.
