Check out the results from the ACE 2006 Regional Newsletter contest. Displayed after the break are the Judges Choice Award and the Member’s Choice Awards. Nor Cal Dispatch ties for second place in Judges Choice Award! Congratulations are in order for our Nor Cal Dispatch newsletter. The Judge’s Choice Award is based on a 10 point scale, with 10 being the highest rating and 1 being the lowest rating. There are 3 judges that participate in the contest, so the highest score that a regional newsletter could get would be 30 points. This year’s judges were Bryan Edwards of Cedar Point, Scott Anderson of Paramount’s Carowinds and Maureen Kaiser of Paramount’s Kings Island. Here are the official complete results:

5 – 16 pts – New York Region – “On Track”
6 – 13 pts – Central Pennsylvania Region – “Coaster PA”
7 – 12 pts – Western Pennsylvania Region – “The Fun Times”
8 – 11 pts – South Central Region – “The Queue Line Chronicle”
9 – 10 pts – North Central Region – “Off The Beaten Track”
The Member’s Choice Awards are based on a 3-2-1 scale (3 points for a first place vote; 2 points for a second place vote and 1 point for a third place vote). Those ACE members attending the convention have the opportunity to vote in the Member’s Choice Awards. This year there were 89 valid ballots cast. Here are the results:
