Hi, I am not a native Californian, but married to one. My husband’s family came to SF in 1850. We have a diary written in 1888 by his then 17 year old great grandfather. He writes about going to Woodward Gardens. He writes nothing specific, only that he likes to go there. Later in life this same man buys a new house basically across the street from the Palace of Fine Arts rotunda from the Pan Pacific Expo. In the back yard of this house, they would find “jewels” in the dirt. The “jewels” were remnants of the Tower Of Jewels that once stood on the same plot of land during the expo.

We saw the ad for the showing at the San Mateo History Museum, were seriously bummed that we wouldn’t be around to go to that. So we did a frantic search online to see what we could find……… just watched the three episodes on line, and they were great. We live in Alameda and see you are going to do Neptune Beach. Before our time, but there was a guy Andy Pagano who had videos/film of Neptune Beach. He passed away some years ago, but I think we still have a copy of his video….

I read the interview with Kris Rowberry in the Nov 21st edition of the Watsonville Register-Pajaronian. Shortly thereafter, I went on to You Tube and got caught up-to-date with the series. I just wanted to wish the best of luck and am also hopeful that the Discovery or Travel Channel can pick up on this for a national series. Good luck to all involved and keep up the good work.
Do you plan on doing an episode on a lost small water park in Milpitas/San Jose called SplashDown?
